Shipping policy

 

***All orders take an estimated 1-7 days processing time before shipping. ***

US Domestic First Class Shipping is estimated  3-5days.

International Shipping is estimated 6-10 days of shipment.

AUSTRALIA and NEW ZEALAND shipments may take 30+ days for shipping and processing. 

Shipments to UK and EU: Customer is liable for VAT, added taxes, and import fees. (please read below for more details)

Preorders:

Preorders take an estimated 8-10 weeks after a batch is put into production for production, grading, packaging, and fulfillment. This does not include holidays or seasonal shop "vacations", which may add time to the estimated ship date. When applicable, please see the Preorders page for any recent preorder batch updates.

Please email for any address changes within 7 days of placing your preorder. Address change requests after the 7 day period may not be able to be accommodated. If the item has not shipped, we will do our best to accommodate the address change request. If the item has already shipped, we cannot accommodate the address change. Please contact your local post office for more information on how to retrieve your package.

If you order in-stock items alongside a pre-order-item, then any in-stock items will be placed on hold until the preorder arrives.

If you place separate orders for pre-order items that are estimated to arrive at separate times, the items will ship separately.

If you place a single order for pre-order items that are estimated to arrive at the same time, the items will ship together.

Preorder details are subject to small changes, and delivery dates are estimated and may take longer depending on production.

 

Customs clearance & service fees

Orders shipped to the European Union and the United Kingdom may be subject to import tax (VAT or other Taxes)

TealTeacup Shop (TealTeacup LLC) is NOT liable for customs clearance & service fees as determined by the mail carrier or the destination country's customs officials. Those or any other fees are not a basis for a refund, as they aren't something we're able to control or reliably predict. By making an order the buyer acknowledges the possibility of additional fees upon import and agrees that those fees will be the responsibility of the buyer.

Please note that such service fees for customs clearance vary wildly, and in some cases may surpass the value of the order. Some of these fees can be avoided by handling customs clearance yourself, if that is possible in your country – contact your local customs office if you're unsure.

The buyer will be responsible for paying import VAT. If an item is returned, we will attempt to contact the customer. TealTeacup will not refund shipping for returned packages.

Additional Delivery Related Issues:

 

Once the package leaves my hands and is in the mail courier's possession, our facility no longer has any control over the package. All domestic First Class USPS and Priority shipping orders will receive tracking, so please use the tracking number to inquire with your local post office for additional shipping-related issues. 

To receive shipping insured up to $50, please choose the optional PRIORITY MAIL shipping option at checkout. Otherwise, you cannot file a claim for any lost or damaged packages through USPS.

UPSPS PRIORITY EXPRESS SHIPPING includes $100  in package insurance. (terms and conditions may change by carriers)

USPS PRIORITY MAIL EXPRESS INTERNATIONAL shipping includes $200 in package insurance. (terms and conditions may change by carriers)

Customer is responsible for filing any applicable and qualifying insurance claims with their carrier in the case of delivery-related issues. 

If a package is returned to our shipping facility due to an incorrect address, I can resend it as long as the customer covers the return shipping fee.

The risk of loss and title for such items pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier. It is your (the Customer's) responsibility to file any claim with a carrier for a lost shipment if carrier tracking indicates that the Product was delivered. In such cases, TealTeacup will not make any refunds and will not resend the Product.

TealTeacup will review replacement/return requests only if (a) there is a missing product or a shipping error that is (a) at the fault of TealTeacup Shop and (b) TealTeacup receives a complaint within 30 days from the day the Product was delivered or within 30 days after the estimated delivery date if the Product is missing with no delivery confirmation or tracking number.
